Safety Gloves 

From industrial to medical, electrical to personal, safety gloves are designed to provide different levels of protection required by different applications. Being described as a crucial part of personal protection equipment (PPE) kit, they are used for protection microorganisms (germs, bacteria, fungus and viruses), pathogens, mechanical risks (such as cut, abrasion, tear or puncture), chemicals, electric shock, cold, heat, ultraviolet, infrared radiation and vibration etc.

The different types of safety gloves include: fist length, elbow length, full -hand length or fingerless gloves. In medical application, healthcare professionals use gloves made of vinyl, latex or nitrile rubber. Nonetheless, they are widely used in construction, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, automobile, electrical, electronic, and other applications where professionals/workers need to protect themselves against dangerous risks. 

There are two types of safety gloves: disposable gloves and reusable gloves. Unless specified as a reusablea , they are meant for single-time use as part of contamination protection and hygiene measures. A different type is used by sportsperson. And, at times of widespread of corona virus, it is necessary to wear safety gloves to protect ourselves from viruses, bacteria and germs.
