Pit Type Spherodise Annealing Furnace

These Pit Type Spherodise Annealing Furnace is suitable for annealing of wire rod in coil form under controlled atmosphere, so as to avoid oxidation and decarburization of charge.
The major furnace constituents are briefly described below.
Furnace Casing :
The furnace shell is in circular form and fabricated from mild steel plates & suitably re-in forced with rolled structural members.
Furnace Insulation :
The furnace side wall and top collar will be lined from inside with low density high insulation ceramic fiber blankets.
Annealing Pot :
To protect the charge from oxidation, heating is done in a closed leak proof annealing pot. The pot is made from AISI-310 quality steel to withstand the higher temperature inside the furnace.
Top Cover :
The exteriors of the top cover are fabricated from mild steel plates and suitably re-inforced with rolled sections.
Re-Circulation fan and Baffle :
One no. baffle is provided to ensure proper circulation of protective atmosphere and enhance temperature uniformity.
Combustion equipments :
Excess air burners are used for burning oil/fuel at the required quantity.
Charge Carrier :
1 set of charge comprising one no. of charge table fabricated from AISI-310 quality plates
Temperature Control & Instrumentation :
The furnace temperature control is done by a closed loop comprising micro-processor based PI programmable controller
