According to the ASTM standard for waterproof test, the bibulous rate of the waterproof gypsum board is only 5%, namely it can used for large region, such as toilet, bath room and kitchen which require high water-proofing standard. But the board shall not directly exposed in a damp environment, nor directly put it into water for long time.

Its board core and protective paper all pass the water-proof treatment, according to GB requirements, paper and board core must achieve certain waterproof demand (surface water quantity is not more than 160 grams per square meter , bibulous rate is not more than 10%).
