Butterfly Dampers are usually installed in air ducts and are used to throttle air flow in process circuits. Steel plants, Cement plants, Power plants, and any plant that use air for processing powdered material, will require Butterfly, Louvre and Guillotine dampers. GMV has extensive experience in design, manufacture and supply of large sized dampers to cement, steel and power plants. We have a state of the art completely computerised design centre at Chennai and an impressive manufacturing facility at the outskirts of Chennai. Supplies include 24 Nos high temperature butterfly dampers to JSPL Barbil Project, 13 Nos dampers to Larsen and Toubro for TATA Pellet plant, 4 Nos dampers to Alstom to Essar, Orissa project, Several dampers to Madras Cements for their several plants, Large sized (6 M x 2.4 M) louvre dampers to TTPS, 24 Nos Guillotine damper to DFPS A/c Abhijeet power etc.,

All the dampers are completely assembled and tested prior to despatch with special testing panel to cut off the limit switches. We can also offer leakage testing at nominal charges.

We offer SS Bulb seals, Seals made of Hastealloy, Alconol, flexible seals, strip seals etc, upto 100% sealing efficiency as per the application. Louvre dampers with 100% sealing efficiency is our speciality. We can also offer dampers with refractory lining and water cooled dampers for very high temperatures.
