Mild Steel Oil Coalescer

1. Floating Suction Unit and Suction Pump is used to transfer the water into the decanter tank of Oil Coalescer unit.

2. Diffuser design at the start of decanter tank reduces the velocity of oil mixed liquid.

3. Oil coalescer unit has three different types of coalescing media fitted into decanter tank. As oil mixed water flows through decanter tank, smaller droplets of oil collude into bigger droplets and start floating on surface as it travels through coalescing media. Coalescing media acts as a de-emulsifying agent.

4. Using gravity principle, water is separated from upper layer of oil in decanter tank. Separated water is taken out and recirculated to the water tank.

5. Floating oil on top of the water is recovered using decanting mechanism and is collected in oil collection tank.

6. Additionally, floating oil on top of the water is recovered using oil skimmer which is fitted on top of decanter tank

7. Oil Skimmer has hydrophobic and oleophilic PU belt. When belt is driven, oil layer gets deposited on the belt surface and is removed using Polyurethane scrapper and drained to oil tank.
