Extended 0648 Tool Slide Kit for Low Clearance Split Frame models LCSF 206/3 to LCSF 1420/3, also doubles as low clearance tool slides for larger frame models LCSF 1824/3 to LCSF 4248. Includes one parting (cutting) tool slide, one beveling tool slide, starwheel trip mechanism with safety level and feed extension blocks. Tool slides, also known as carriers, holders or modules, are the devices that bolt to the split frame rotating ring and hold the actual tooling, or cutting/beveling bits. Extended tool slides offer a 1.67" (42.4mm) stroke, and double as low clearance slides for the larger split frames sizes. Low clearance tool slides are designed to fit within the frame height of the rotatating ring for applications where radial clearances are minimal.
