It is fabricated using concentric-helical tube coils, which constitute the internal combustion chamber. This is embodied in a double shell heavy duty mild steel. Rapid start-up and operational flexibility is permitted by low thermal inertia due to the elimination of the use of extensive refractory material (except at the furnace base). Gas Fired Hot Water Boiler incorporates a fuel atomising pressure jet burner, which is located to fire vertically downward into the combustion chamber.
