The rotor media are coated with a combination of a corrosion-prohibiting and no migratingadsorbent Molecular Sieve 3AY desiccant to recover sensible heat and latent heat to a very high degree. Permanently bonded to the rotor surface and specifically developed for an expanding transfer of water vapors &capacity will be at a constant high level, valid for year-round use.

The Rotor is constructed of alternate layers of corrugated and flat aluminum foil. The Rotor surface is reinforced to achieve a polished smooth face surface to ensure that the vertical run out does not exceed +1 mm for every 1 metre dia, thereby ensuring negligible leakage. The radial run out also shall not exceed +1 mm for every 1 meter dia which provides optimal sealing surface for brush seals. Maximum operating temperature of 70 A C.Rotor should rotate at lower than 20 to 25 RPM. Thereby also ensuring long life of belts and reduced wear and tear of seals. The rotor honeycomb matrix foil should be so wound and adhered as to make a structurally very strong. Pressure drop across the heat recovery wheel shall not exceed 2.5 mm for every 0.5 m/s face velocity.The Rotor has smooth air channels to ensure laminar airflow.
