Crane Duty Gear Box Constructional FeaturesThe gearboxes has been designed with split type gear housing fabricated with M.S. stress relieved and precision machined. The gears are designed with modified teeth profile to ensure higher bending strength whereas material used are high carbon alloy steel and precision machined. Shafts are made up from high carbon alloy steel which under goes heat treatment to perform for higher torques. Anti - friction ball or roller bearing are used and proper sealing by lip type oil with metallic dust covers.
