Bulab 501 - Curing Agent For 500

Bulab 501 Curing Agent for Flamebloc GS 500 and Flamebloc GS 502 Bulab 501 is the curing agent for Flamebloc GS 500 and Flamebloc GS 502 products. It is blended one part Bulab 501 to four parts Flamebloc GS 500 or 502 by volume. After blending, a five-minute induction period is suggested before the coating is ready for application. After blending with Bulab 501, the product with curing agent can be stirred or blended with a mixer and paddle blade at slow speed avoiding cavitations and air entrapment, mixed for 35 minutes, and then the cured product is ready for application. The mixture is to be applied within 2-3 hours. TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS Appearance................Clear to slightly hazy liquid Density @ 25C (77F)...............1.18 1.23 g/ml Approximate volume per kilogram........... 830 ml pH (neat).................................................8.0 9.0 APPLICATION Application of Bulab 501 when properly combined with Flamebloc GS 500 or 502 is easily accomplished with brush, roller, or spray, depending upon which product is used. Since these products are water-soluble, cleanup is accomplished with soap and water wash. PACKAGING AND HANDLING Bulab 501 is a liquid packaged in drums, intermediate bulk containers, and in bulk. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for suitable materials of construction for handling and storing this product. Improper handling of this product can be injurious to workers.
