Our offered Basalt Rock Fiber when mixed with concrete/shotcrete, it improves the tensile strength in the range of 50%- 60% and compressive strength in the range of 25% a 30%. Other advantages of using rock fiber in concrete are that there will be zero crack in the concrete, satisfactory workability of fresh concrete, dry shrinkage is zero, increase in impact resistance, increased ductility of the concrete due to addition of fibers. Abrasive resistance is highest among all classes of fibers. There will be no balling, bleeding, or segregation while adding this fiber. This is a non-corrosive and resistant to aggressive chemical environment. Thus this is a good alternate to steel fibers both technically and economically.
