Alpha Naphthyl Acetic Acid

We are instrumental in providing to our valuable customers excellent quality Alpha Naphthyl Acetic Acid which is available with following specification:-
1.Appearance:A White to cream coloured powder.
2.Odour:Not more than slight, Naphthalene type.
3.Solution:Dissolve 5g. in 30 ml.m sodium hydroxide and dilute to 50ml. With water. The solution should be not unreasonably dim or dirty and not more than pale yellow in colour.
4.Identity:The U.V. absorption spectrum should be similar to that of a reference sample and the A1% at the maximum at about 280 ML. Should be about 350.
5.Melting Point:Between 125 and 133oC
6.Sulphated Ash:Not more than 0.25%
7.Assay:Between 99 and 103%
