Remove uneaten food: Fresh perishables and dirty dry goods should be thrown away regularly. Wet pellets or hay is a sign that the animal hasn't finished eating them.

Refill water bowl: If taking this measure, the rabbits will be well hydrated and there will be less chance of a bacterial accumulation. If wanting to keep the dish or water bottle in good condition, wash it with soap and water once a week.

Clean the litter box: Don't have to give it a thorough cleaning, but keeping it free of urine scent is important.

Quick Sweep up: The hay and hair that have accumulated in and around the rabbit's cage should be swept up quickly.

The best rabbit cage is the Pet playpen. Rabbits should be kept in a pet playpen rather than a traditional cage. This style of the cage is affordable, provides plenty of room for the rabbit, and safely confines it so it can't get out. Ultimately, the dimensions of the cage chosen should be three times the length and twice the breadth of the rabbit. If needing to enclose the rabbit, a rabbit playpen is a portable and portable fence. Having a pen for the rabbit makes cleanup a breeze, and if needing more space for the pet, simply purchase a second playpen and attach it to the first.

If someone has two rabbits, it is recommended that he/she changes the liner and bedding of the hutch once or twice every week, depending on how dirty it gets. If there are very young bunnies present, then the enclosure will need to be meticulously cleaned each and every day. The rabbit's hutch or cage must be cleaned properly once every two weeks, at the absolute least. However, a deep cleaning of the cage may be necessary more frequently based on the scale of the cage and the effectiveness with which the rabbit is taught to access the litter box.
