Have issues with a certain piece of technology? Check that all of the components are securely attached, that the device has power, and that it is configured appropriately:

• To begin, you should attempt to inspect your apparatus.

• Unplug any USB cables that are connected to the device, wait a few moments for Windows to finish unloading the driver for the device, and then reconnect the device.

• You might try switching the USB port you're using on your computer.

• If you connect the item to the computer using a USB hub, check to be that the hub has a power supply. If it is still not functioning, try unplugging the USB hub and connecting the device to a USB port on the computer itself rather than using the hub.

• Check to see that the cords on your device are not broken or otherwise compromised in any manner.

• Whether you have any gadgets that are powered by batteries, check to see if they are completely charged or if they have new batteries.

• Check to see that there is no dirt covering any of the keys or sensors.

If the device gives the impression of not functioning at all, connect the device to another personal computer and check to see whether or not it functions properly on that computer. It's possible that the device has to be replaced if it can't be used on the other computer.
