Safe substance: PVC is not poisonous. It is a commodity that has been utilized for over 50 years and is both safe and important socially. It's also the material that has undergone the most extensive testing and study. It complies with all applicable international safety and health standards for the goods and uses for which it is intended.

Resistant to fire: PVC items will burn when exposed to a fire, much like other organic materials utilized in structures, such as other polymers, wood, textiles, etc. However, PVC goods are self-extinguishing, meaning they will cease burning if the fire source is removed. PVC materials offer favourable fire safety features because of their high chlorine content. A few years ago, dioxins were heavily included in communication and measurement programs for catastrophic fires. Good insulator: PVC is a great material to utilize for electronic applications, like cable insulating sheathing, since it does not carry electricity.
