Cvd Diamond

CVD diamond is produced using a method called chemical vapour deposition (CVD). With this method, a synthetic diamond can be grown from a hydrocarbon gas mixture. The process involves steps like substrate preparation, feeding different amounts of gases into a growth chamber, & ionizing them. Carbon-source gases are always used, typically hydrogen & methane. In the growth chamber, the gases are ionized using an electron beam, a laser, a welding torch, an arc discharge, a hot filament, or a microwave power.
