Jyoti Ceramic Industries Pvt. Ltd., a family owned company was founded by Late Mr. Shyam Merani who pioneered manufacturing of technical ceramics in India. During its journey of over 5 decades, Jyoti Ceramic Industries has garnered rich manufacturing experience and today is considered to be amongst the leaders in this field.

Situated at Nashik, around 180 kms north east of Mumbai, the manufacturing units of Jyoti Ceramic are of international standards with each unit covering around 8000 sq. meters of floor space surrounded by lush green landscaped gardens spread over 8 acres of land. Both plants are well equipped with the latest generation machinery, automatic, uniaxial and isostatic press es, microprocessor controlled high temperature gas-fired shuttle/tunnel kilns, slip houses. These units are well supported by an ultra-modern engineering workshop and state-of-the art R & D Lab.

With the support of excellent manufacturing infrastructure, experienced engineers, technicians and staff, Jyoti Ceramic has to its credit developed many proprietary ceramic formulations in high purity Zirconia and Alumina oxide, Cordierite, Forsterite, Steatite etc. Our wide range of premier products includes zirconium oxide ceramic micro-macro milling media, zirconium silicate ceramic micro milling beads, High Density High Alumina ceramic milling media and Wear Resistant Lining Tiles, Re-crystallized High Purity Alumina ceramic Pyrometry tubes, Ballistic Armor Ceramics, Bio-ceramic products, Zircon based high temperature resistant refractory coatings and corrosion abrasion resistant coating compounds.

Looking at the growing global demand for Dental Ceramic restoratives, in 2009 Jyoti Ceramic established a separate Bio- Ceramic division for manufacture of bio-ceramic products, namely ceramic dental blanks and restoratives under the brand name Jyodent. This Bio-Ceramic Division is equipped with high pressure Uniaxial & Isostatic presses, 5 Axis Laser Scanner and a CAD/CAM Milling Center.

After our success with Jyodent Ceramic Dental Blanks & restoratives, we now have plans to further expand our bio-ceramic range of products to include ceramic prostheses for knee, hip joints, ears and other body parts.

Currently Jyoti Ceramic exports 70% of its production to over 55 countries. Jyoti Ceramic has established a sales subsidiary company in Nürnberg/Fürth (Germany) and a sales office in New York (U.S.A.) to cater to our customers in Europe, U.S.A., Canada, Mexico & Brazil. We have in addition appointed distributors in The Czech Republic & Australia to enable speedier delivery to our customers across the globe.
