Salient Features of Two Backup Rings :-\015\012* Backup rings prevent extrusion "O" Rings\015\012* In high pressures usually above 1500 PSI\015\012* Compensate for loose fitting components

\015\012X RINGS also known as Four Lobed Rings are used in a variety of static & dynamic sealing applications.\015\012\015\012The Four Lobed design provides twice the sealing surface in comparison to a standard O rings.\015\012\015\012The double seal action requires less squeeze reducing friction

Salient Features of Contour Backup Rings :-\015\012* Backup rings prevent extrusion "O" Rings\015\012* In high pressures usually above 1500 PSI\015\012* Compensate for loose fitting components

One backup rings should be used on each side of the o ring in double acting assemblies if possible two backups should be used even in single acting assemblies

Salient Features of Flat Backup Rings :-\015\012* Backup rings prevent extrusion "O" Rings\015\012* In high pressures usually above 1500 PSI\015\012* Compensate for loose fitting components
