Background:
Trace minerals carry out key functions in relation to many metabolic processes, most notably as part of enzymes and hormones. In animals they play a vital role in growth, health, bone development and reproduction. Though these trace elements are present in the diet, deficiency of these essential trace minerals is a common problem. Supplementation of trace minerals in optimum quantity through diet is in practice to overcome deficiency issues.

Ideal chelates: Supplementation of trace minerals in the form of native minerals (oxides, sulfates), organic salts, amino acids and proteinates etc. is in practice. However, bioavailability of minerals and organic salts are very poor and therefore its absorption in intestine gets limited. The other factor that need to be verified is extent of chelation in case of amino acids or proteinate chelates, as the process of chelation involves linking minerals with ligands by establishing co-ordinate bond linkages.

MIN choice is a blend of HAATM (special ligand which gives ideal stability constant for chelates) chelates having efficient bio-absorption. It contains optimum levels of zinc, copper, manganese and iron in chelated form assuring growth and health of birds. The presence of organic chromium boosts the immunity of the birds, selenium improves disease resistance and iodine helps in maintaining egg quality and performance of the bird. The product is fortified with biotin which is required for cell growth, the production of fatty acids and the metabolism of both fats and amino acids
