1.0 This document describes the inspection and quality assurance requirements for the
Aluminium Alloy material 24345 in T652 condition as per Appendix a Aa . The tests
and acceptance procedure specified in this document shall be followed and results of all
inspection and quality control requirements stipulated shall be documented.
2.0 The detail of bill of material is given as per Appendix a Aa .
2.1 Identification: All the raw materials shall be checked for identification numbers and test
certificates. The raw material code number shall be allotted for each material and
traceability shall be maintained for all the materials.
2.2 Visual Inspection: All the raw materials shall be examined visually for surface defects
and irregularities like cracks, scratches, seams, burn spots, excessive scale etc. which
shall not be permissible.
