Established in 1918, Hokuriku Confectionery(hokka) is a manufacture located in Kanazawa-city, Ishikawa prefecture in Japan, speciializing in production of biscuits, snacks, rice carckers and hardtack. hokka began its history with a rice cracker factory named Nippon Arare, started to produce biscuits from the year of 1952 with the new company name Hokuriku Confectionery, and then supplied hardtack during the world war. After the war, hokka is known as a company contributing to Japanese people's well-being by its products familiar to people from children to the elderly in Japan. Nowadays hokka, based on its craftsmanship that holds good in ages, wishes to bring happy smiles and delicious snacks to the world. Licensed Character Items hokka also has products featuring licensed characters, such as Sanrio Hello Kitty, Gudetama, Moomin, Doraemon, Monchhichi, the bears school.
