Invert the garment and put it in a mesh laundry bag. The gentle cycle should be used, using cold water and a low spin speed. Two capfuls of delicate wash, or a spray, should be added to a sink or wash basin full of cool water. Use wool & cashmere shampoo on any wool or wool blend garments. Put it in a sink full of soapy water and swish it around with the hands to spread the suds around. Indulge in a long soak of up to 30 minutes. The next step is to use the hands to gently agitate the object as it soaks.
