Balila Diazoxide Capsule is used in the management of hypoglycemia. It is used to treat hypoglycemia in people who have certain medical conditions, such as inoperable islet cell adenoma or carcinoma, adenomatosis, and islet cell hyperplasia. It works by inhibiting insulin release from the pancreas.

Balila Capsule can be consumed with or without food. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose based on the severity of your condition. For best results, take it on a daily basis at the same time. Do not discontinue use without first consulting your doctor. If you do, it may worsen your symptoms.

This medication's most common side effects are sodium and fluid retention. Patients may also have nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, an increased heart rate, and palpitation. Consult your doctor if you experience any of these side effects that do not go away or worsen.

Inform your doctor if you have any medical conditions before taking this medication. While taking this medication, your blood glucose level may be monitored on a regular basis by your doctor. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medication because it may harm the developing baby.

Balila Diazoxide Capsule is prescribed to manage low blood sugar levels, known as hypoglycemia. This medication helps to regulate blood sugar levels and returns the patient's condition to normal. However, Balila Diazoxide Capsule should not be used to treat low blood sugar from poor nutrition/diet (functional hypoglycemia). In the presence of normal kidney (renal) function, the effect of this medication begins within an hour and generally lasts no more than eight hours.
