One of the most popular ways to get rid of birds is by using nets. Because it physically prevents unwanted birds from entering the area, it has been scientifically demonstrated to be beneficial. Contrary to popular belief, bird control netting is effective in a wide variety of locations, including but not limited to buildings, roofs, fisheries, agricultural regions, and many more. The birds, it is said, are caught off-guard when they fly into the black netting and quickly take flight. We only use "UV stabilised" bird netting in our products. This is especially crucial for the longevity of the nets in Australia and New Zealand because to the higher levels of ultraviolet light there compared to the Northern Hemisphere.
The polyethylene UV stabilized net with a 12/6 twine is the kind of netting that is utilized for bird proofing the vast majority of the time. The primary benefit of using nylon pigeon nets in an urban environment for the purpose of protecting buildings lies in the fact that the nets can be made to blend in with the fascia of the building in question, thereby preserving the aesthetic quality of the building that is the subject of the protection. Although the use of bird netting is typically the only physical exclusion device accessible to farmers in agricultural settings to protect fruit crops, the use of bird frightening items such as predator balloons and noise-related devices is commonplace and often complements the use of bird netting.
Most surfaces may have the bird spikes affixed to them with a construction grade polyurethane glue. Pigeons require a pigeon net with a 50mm (2") gauge, gulls need a 100mm (4") net, sparrows need a 19mm (3/4") net, and starlings need a 28mm (1 1/8") net. If the netting is placed horizontally, the target species will not be able to perch or walk on it, and therefore alternative gauges are needed to guarantee that a) the opening is small enough to physically prohibit the species from accessing the netting region. Where many kinds of birds roost on a structure at the same time presents a significant challenge for the usage of nylon bird netting and pigeon netting for building protection.
It is often believed that owls and snakes have the ability to throw pigeons off balance.
