Muslim Cap 

Wearing a Muslim cap is a sign of modesty and respect in the Islamic faith, both toward God and toward fellow humans. There is a special something in the beliefs and practices of each religion's adherents. Religious reasons are a common explanation for its widespread use; for instance, Muslims believe that the Islamic prophet Muhammad wore a head covering at all times, hence doing so is considered mustahabb (laudable) in order to imitate Muhammad. During in the five daily prayers, many Muslim males choose to wear them. Muslim males traditionally wear a skullcap called a Taqiyah, which is high and rounded. 

While it is not obligatory to cover one's head during salah, it is part of the Islamic etiquette to do so. Nonetheless, if a man does not cover his head for reasons of style or laziness, his prayer is invalidated. It's worth noting that people of various faiths, like Zoroastrians, Christians, and Jews, also often wear head coverings. However, the custom of wearing a head covering is more common among Muslims. Yes, it is believed that not wearing a head covering when praying is contrary to the Prophet's teachings. Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, in his Encyclopaedia of Islamic Doctrine, said that women should always cover their heads in prayer since it is part of the quality of adornment that Allah ordained. The chechia is a traditional head covering for males in Tunisia (handmade from wool). Pakol hats are widely worn in Afghanistan. The hats are commonly referred to as kufis in the United States and the United Kingdom. African Muslims commonly wear the karakul hat. Among Malays, taqiyah is most commonly called kopiah. Muslims in Russia typically cover their heads with a doppa (rug cap).
