An LED panel uses light-emitting diodes as backlights for producing image on the display, whereas an LCD panel either uses fluorescent or LED backlighting as a backlight source for producing image on the display.
An LCD panel is a compact & thin structure which emits no radiations, cause no flickering, consumes low power. It enables HDMI & DVI connections, & offer benefits over colour, spatial & temporal performance.
OLED panel tend to suffer from screen burn-in which cannot be recycled, whereas an LCD panel can be easily recycled which makes it eco-friendly & cost-effective.
