About Brass Float Valve

Brass float valve, also known as ballcock, is a mechanism for filling the fluid storage tanks and preventing the overflow by automatically shutting of the fluid flow, as well as, for avoiding backflow. The valve is connected to a ball-shaped, lightweight, sealed float by means of a lever, mounted near the opening of the tank. The valve is directly connected to the incoming fluid supply, and is opened or closed by the lever, responding to the fluid level inside the tank. The float rises when the fluid level rises and force to shut the water flow when the fluid level reaches to a pre-set level.

The brass float valve is extensively used in toilet tanks, domestic water tank, commercial water tank, industrial gasoline tanks etc., which are installed either above ground or underground. When fluid level drops, it responds by refilling the tank. This type of valve is made of brass material that feature high durability, high efficiency, reliability and strong structure, making it a perfect choice for your water tank.
