Who are We? Halal Asia Services LLP (HAS) is a Certification Body (CB) providing Halal Certification. HAS is the first CB in India to have both ISO 17065 & UAE.S 2055-2 accreditation provided by GCC Accreditation Centre (GAC), Saudi Arabia and approved by Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology (ESMA), Government of United Arab Emirates. What we Do? We provide Halal certificates to Food Products & Allied Industries by verification at any and all stages of food chain including, receiving of Raw Materials & ingredients, preparation, packaging, labelling, handling, transportation, distributing, storage, displaying and Halal food service, we perform the Audit based on UAE.S GSO 2055-1 along with the Hygiene standard GSO 1694 and Product standards. Why Halal certification for Food Products? Food & Drinks that we consume today has more to it than meets the eyes. With several ingredients and additives being added for various reasons, we take in more complex substances than we intend to consume. Even, simple fruits can be glazed with waxes and shellac for preservation purposes. The need for verification of each of the materials, their origin, usability in Food Products and their safety, is much needed now. On this front, we provide Certification services to all Food, Consumables & Additives manufacturers for regional sales or for export purposes. Through the certification, we ensure that the products meet the Food safety regulation on one hand and also assure the Halal status of the products, thereby providing dual benefit for the Manufacturers & Consumers.
