Manufacturing Process

We depend on old techniques and processes to weave Pure Pashmina Shawls and Kashmiri Shawls. The process takes place in presence of weavers and artisans. Following are the steps that are meticulously carried out by our employees:

• Dressing the Warp: Obtained from manual winding of the pashmina yarn, warp is stretched and fixed using a loom.


• Winding of Yarn: The stretched yarn is again wounded using wooden spindles.


• Dyeing: Yarn is dyed in numerous colors and shades as per the requirement.


• Washing: Mild detergents and spring water are used to wash the shawl.


• Making of Fringes: Once designs are approved, our master artisan completes the embroidery process on the chosen colored shawl.
