Latex Testing-physical And Chemical Tests

Physical tests:
Dry rubber content (DRC) and Total solid content of the latex:

* We test DRC and total solid content of the latex according to ASTM standard D 1076 and ISO procedure.
* We have highly precise weighing balance with accuracy of 0.01 mg for doing these analyses.


Stability of the latex:
* We test according to ASTM standard D 1076 and ISO procedure.
* We analyze mechanical stability, chemical stability, heat stability, Emulsion stability of latex sample.
* We have klaxon latex mechanical stability test apparatus to analyze stability.
* Test is done at 14,000 RPM.

Chemical Tests:
Protein analysis
* We test according to ASTM standard D 1076 and ISO procedure.
* Sample is centrifuged for Extracting original latex by centrifuge machine at 2,300 RPM.
* Extracted sample is analyzed under UV spectrophotometer. Amount of protein the latex is determined by photometric method.
* We have UV-1800 model UV spectrophotometer. This instrument is fully computerized and results are generated automatically.
