Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Plant

In the Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Plant, the goal is to separate pure water from the dissolved salts and other contaminats. This is achieved through the membrance technology. The material of the membrane is semi-permeable which allows water molecules to pass throught while acting as a barrier to dissolved solids and contaminants when high pressure is applied to the feed water. The membranes are configured to split the feed water into two streams-one part as purified and the other part as reject to wash away the slats and contaminants.

Stages :
1st filter : Graded sand filter screens out large sediments and floating particles. The activated carbon reduces the elements that cause water to taste and smell unpleasant, including the taste and odour of chlorine.

2nd filter : Micron filter screens out sediments and particles down to 5 microns that cause cloudy water.

3rd filter : Fine micron filter screens out sediments and fine particles further down to 1 micron.

4th filter : Reverse Osmosis Membrane reduces virus, bacteria, radium, lead, arsenic and many heavy metals and other poisonous substance.

5th filter : Ultra violet treatment inactivates further growth of bacteria and other micro organisms.
