Agro, food & drink, ingredients & packaging sectors go hand-in-hand. India's agro, food and beverage processing industries never had it so good. During 2016-17, total agricultural exports were worth US $ 33 billion of which 13% is accounted for by processed foods - which only goes to show the untapped potential. The facts and figures speak for themselves, but consider this - India's Agriculture Ministry now aims to double production of all food crops through National Food Security Mission, NHM, HMNEHS & NHB and disseminating latest and modern practices of production and post harvest care. The Ministries of Food Processing, Agriculture, Commerce & Industries have over the last term excelled, the fabulous results of which are evident in the stats. India is the world's second largest producer of food, after China but accounts for less than 1.5% of world food trade. The Indian Government under the progressive leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and the related union cabinet ministers are ensuring the processing sector grows to reduce waste, produce quality yield, meet food security needs and generates foreign exchange through exports worldwide.

About Venue
Welcome to Nehru Centre in Mumbai, Nehru Centre is the popular centre which always promotes the teachings and ideals of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, through educational and cultural programmes in the city of Mumbai, India. The Centre organises scientific, cultural and educational activities. The planetarium was only the first phase of an ambitious memorial that truly reflects the awe-inspiring spirit of a man who meant so much to three generations of Indians and which continues to inspire the present generation. Discovery of India Exposition, a permanent unique exposition, covering every aspect of artistic, intellectual and philosophical attainment of India through ages, is depicted in 14 galleries which seek to determine the true identity of the country.
