Q. How do you give artemether injection?

Artemether
injection is administered intramuscularly into the anterior thigh after being
dissolved in oil (groundnut sesame seed). Artemether is administered
intramuscularly at a therapeutic dosage of 3.2 mg/kg body weight (to the
anterior thigh). The daily maintenance dosage is 1.6 mg/kg BW intramuscularly.
