Pantoneel (Pantoprazole For Injection)

In adults and children aged 5 years and older, pantoprazole treats damage caused by GERD, a disease in which acid flow from the stomach is reversed, leading to heartburn and, in some cases, esophageal injury (damage to the tube that runs between the stomach and the throat). Pantoprazole Tablet is used to heal the damaged esophagus and prevents further damage in adults who have GERD, as well as in those with too much acid production in the stomach, such as adults with zollinger-ellison syndrome. Like many other proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), pantoprazole injection works by reducing the amounts of acid made by the stomach.
