Opal PP MI03 is a general-purpose polypropylene (PP) homopolymer grade developed by ONGC Petro additions Ltd. (OPaL) for injection molding applications. With a Melt Flow Index of 3.5 g/10 min, this grade provides a well-balanced combination of processability, strength, and toughness, enabling efficient molding of structurally sound and dimensionally stable parts.
PP MI03 offers superior stiffness with a flexural modulus of 1200 MPa, good impact resistance (Notched Izod: 150 J/m), and excellent thermal properties, including a heat deflection temperature of 90C, making it ideal for durable applications across various sectors. It is suitable for consumer goods, automotive parts, furniture, storage bins, and more.
