Liquid Based Tag Mold Sealer (Dexseal)

Dexseal is a high-performance sealer designed to condition and seal mold surfaces. It serves to reduce mold porosity and establish a solid base for both new and reconditioned molds.

Application Instructions:
Clean the mold surface thoroughly to eliminate all traces of wax, release agents, and previous sealers. Dexclean Mold Cleaner is recommended for this purpose.
Ensure the surface is dry and free from any contaminants.
Using a clean cotton cloth (not dripping), apply a smooth and continuous film over a small area (a few square feet) at a time.
Wait until the Dexseal film begins to evaporate (approximately 3-20 seconds). While the film is still wet, use a second clean and dry cotton cloth to wipe the surface. Employ a circular motion, starting from the outside and moving inward, until the film is dry and clear. Note that if the mold surface is cold, it might require a longer wait before wiping off excess material.
Repeat the above steps until the entire mold surface is covered. Typically, one coat is sufficient.
Allow the sealer to cure for one hour at room temperature or for 10-15 minutes at 200A F (93A C).

Troubleshooting Tips:
Keep the container closed whenever it's not in use.
Thoroughly clean and dry the mold before applying Dexseal.
Ensure that the application area is well-ventilated.
