Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG is a multi-spectrum insecticide that controls lepidopteran insects such as bollworms, fruit and shoot borers, diamondback moth, thrips, and mites on crops like cotton, okra, cabbage, chili, brinjal, chickpea, and grapes. It suppresses the insect's nerve signal, leading to paralysis and mortality, with systemic and translaminar action for extended protection. Usual dosage is 80100 grams per acre by foliar spray, and it is rainfast for around 4 hours. It is effective for use in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) systems.
