TradeIndia’s contribution to Indian Economy
With a record growth in business through the Internet, exporters and importers are finding B2B websites more and more profitable. Not only does e-commerce do away with the middlemen, it also cuts down on time during clinching a deal.
A survey conducted by our team on ‘inquiries received by Indian exporters from buyers worldwide through Tradeindia which got converted into concrete business deals,' revealed that almost 30.45 percent of the Request For Information (RFIs) were converted into concrete business deals. This is nevertheless quite impressive.
On the above basis, I can proudly say that TradeIndia has contributed approximately Rs.7800 crore (US $ 1.73 billion) of business to Indian economy this fiscal. I thank all buyers & sellers who used tradeindia as a platform to do business.
However, TradeIndia will also try to interact with the remaining 70 percent of our users and would double our efforts to see that their responses too are converted into concrete deals. Further, a total business of approximately Rs 7,800 crore per year has been generated through TradeIndia. However, if we include inquiries received from Exporters Yellow Pages our premier publication on Indian Manufacturers & Exporters & TradeIndia CD-ROM global circulation, the total figure would stand at two to three folds of the above given figures of online deals.
Users should benefit from the exhaustive features of TradeIndia by following certain basics i.e. always update your contact information and make good use of the keywords. Use of right keywords enhances your chances and gives you maximum internet presence. I would also like to call upon our users to send their views and feedback to help us serve you better. |

Hi Bikky, |
I fully endorse your views. Time has come for India to initiate steps for employment to the educated millions in domestic and export sectors. Full utilization of the skilled manpower in all job oriented sectors whether it is in accountancy, BPO, IT-enabled services, Bio-technology, art or Engineering services. This will provide jobs to millions of educated people who are currently being unable to make both ends meet. Thus the policy conceptualized by Kamal Nath is indeed a boom. |
