Tradeindia salutes its users

It was indeed a moment of immense pleasure for the entire Infocom Network family to celebrate its 16th anniversary on September 7. I would certainly like to take this opportunity to thank all our well-wishers for the support they bestowed upon us.

Although we started small in 1990, with the blessings of more than half a million registered users, today after more than a decade of operation, I can proudly say that tradeindia.com is one of the leading B2B sites in the country, with a wide network of 18 branches across the globe and a team of around 450 professionals working for a common goal – to make things easier for the exim community.

I think publishing the first of its kind Exporters Yellow Pages was quite an achievement. Its first edition hit the stands in 1990. Later, we made it biannual in order to keep pace with the changing information and growing exim community.

I believe that our contribution to the Indian economy cannot be ignored either. More than Rs 7,800 crore of E-business (trackable) was done via our website. The actual volume of business done through tradeindia however exceeds this figure. And with your support I have no doubt in my mind that we will be able to offer even more in the future.

The Translation link would be displayed at the top and bottom of catalog displaying Flags of various countries. Hi Bikky,
It was nice reading your editorial. Indeed with a little initiative from the government, India can do a lot of business with Italy. We can even use Italy as the gateway to Europe. I am really keeping my fingers crossed.
