Streptokinase Injection

Indications : Acute myocardial infarction, acute thrombosis of arteries, pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.
Contraindications : Severe and uncontrolled hypertension, impaired hepatic and renal functions, within 24 hours of surgery or labour, blood dyscrasias, pericarditis and pericardial effusion. Pregnancy & SABE.
Safety Profile : Cardiac dysfunction.
Adverse Effects : Hypotension, arrhythmias, haemorrhage, pulmonary oedema, nausea, vomiting.
Drug Interactions : dipyridamole, heparin and oral anticoagulants increase the risk of haemorrhage.
