The pollution control unit based on American technology is mounted on the same frame of drum unit. The horizontal duct connects the dry dust collector to the wet scrubber. High pressure pumps and nozzles are used for spraying the water all over the gases, resulting the emission without any smoke.

The flights/lifters have been installed inside the drum to give maximum heat transfer to the aggregate asphalt for effective coating. Fully automatic oil jet burners feature high-pressure blowers, ignition rods, ignition transformer, solenoid oil valves, airflow window and jack. Separate oil pumping unit fitted with filters is installed on the chassis of the dryer.
