Medium temperature process heat (50 degrees C to 120 degrees C) can be produced by ETC collectors due to our innovations. Above 70 degrees C heat typically has been delivered using concentrated solar Thermal (CST). But, ETC can be installed on Industrial rooftops due to its lower weight. Moreover, considerable amount of wasted space on the rooftops can easily accommodate ETC collectors. Simplicity in construction decreases the system price to sometimes even one third. The system does not require continuous tracking according to the movement of the sun, which decreases the operational cost of the system. The overall collection efficiency of ETC collectors is way higher as it also collects diffused light (GHI).
