A beautiful large authentic antique armoire from St Malo. Made of warm oak, this is an incredibly eye catching piece, rich in detail and hand carved. It dates from the early to mid 18th century and is in exceptional condition for its age. Internally it is very clean and comes with 3 thick cut shelves. The base houses 2 very spacious drawers and a long central drawer which is lockable. Unusually the doors have double locks and this armoire comes with the 3 original fully working keys. It also retains the original internal iron door latches. This is an incredible statement piece which has been lovingly looked after, it offers fantastic storage as well as incredible historical presence.
