It is full duplex communication equipment, designed to operate as a multi-channel radio through line-of-sight radio path, for military use. Various kinds of data interface is provided viz. E1( upto n=16), E3, V.35 and LAN which is available on Line Termination Box (LTB), that would be connected to IDU. The radio is provided with an Engineering Order Wire (EOW) service. The equipment is modular in construction for ease of maintenance and repair. The radio comprise of two units viz. In Door Unit (IDU) and Out Door Unit (ODU).The IDU is 19 inches rack mountable, modular in construction and designed for shelter based tactical applications. ODU is mast mounted and of rugged design.
