Whirler decanter centrifuge separates solid materials from liquids in slurry and therefore plays an important role in wastewater treatment, chemical, oil and food processing industries.
Whirler Decanter's simple and easy to understand design of a decanter makes it possible to configure it to all kinds of solid liquid separation requirements. Decanter can meet particular customer requirements and make the decanter the most adaptive centrifuge.
This is EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT DECANTER CENTRIFUGE, also widely used for SLUDGE TREATMENT PLANT.

In Feed and Out Feed
Through the feed, the material to be separated can be input into the the infeed chamber of the scroll, where it is slowly accelerated. Whirler decanter outputs the transported solids by axial force via outfeed bushes (openings at the tapered end of the bowl).
The material to be separated reaches its peak speed in the decanter bowl, causing the solids to decant on the bowl inside diameter. A characteristic feature of the bowl is its cylindrical+tapered shape.
The scroll is the transport screw in a decanter centrifuge. It rotates at a differential speed (in relation to the bowl) and transports the decanted solids towards the tapered narrowing end of the bowl.
