Our provided 0-20 Meters FMCW RADAR Sensors of the RAS series protect your installations and your vehicle fleet reliable against collisions. Thereby, moving as well as static objects will be safely detected. Base is the MICAS HF technology, starting from RAS single sensor systems with pre-defined detection fields up to the very flexible RAS scanner sensor system. All RAS modules are made for any kind of weather or unfavourable conditions and can be configurated individually via a user friendly software. Due to its insensibility against any soilings, the RAS sensor systems are particularly suitable for the use in heavy environmental conditions for indoor and outdoor applications, e. g. for cranes, forklift trucks, agricultural machines, stripping shovels, heavy duty maschinery, high-lift trucks, machinery protection, etc.

The RAS 400-7 S1 provide a detection field of 7A horizontal and 28A vertical or alternatively 28A horizontal and 7A vertical with a range of up to 20 m. In case of object detection, the system senses the object inside the detection field with distance resolution and the signal output is ensured via potential free contacts or acoustical and/or optical signals.
