The heat absorbing devices in solar panel convert the heat, light and radiation energy of environment in to useful energy allows compressor to required function.



This helps the compressor for doing cooling and heating work as per need. More over, the energy absorbed in the day time can be stored in the heat absorbing device, ensure the air conditioner to work normally all day and night and even in cloudy days.



In case of conventional A/C, during cooling, the Freon is compressed into high temp high pressure steam in the compressor, then further to condenser coil. Here freon becomes high pressure normal temp liquid and to capillary. Further freon turns to low temp low pressure liquid through decompression then to indoor unit to achieve cooling function through heat exchanging in evaporator.



Now for our solar air conditioner, solar collectors are collecting heat from sunshine, after the high temp high pressure steam (freon) come from the compressor, the high temp high pressure steam (freon) will go to the copper coil of the solar collector for heat exchange. Here the solar collector makes the high temp high pressure steam (freon) much higher temp, much higher pressure. In short, the solar collector helps the compressor to make the high temp high pressure steam (freon) much higher in temp and pressure. So the solar air conditioner can save electricity and increase the energy efficiency when cooling.
