Product Description
Demineralization of water by Ion Exchange process is an old technology and was widely used before late 90’s in India. The Two Bed DM plant works with the principle of ion exchange by the supported media called resin. Resin used in the ion exchange process is made from polymer (styrene based co polymer) and has different positive and negative functional groups for various applications.

Ion Exchange resins used in water treatment industry has positive and negative functional group called H+ and OH- respectively and are being used in Two Bed as well as Mixed bed unit. The chemical reaction in the in the process vessel is as follows.
