Only for those lines with large press and producing bigger irregular profiles, after the profile formed and out of the extrusion spout, cooled off through the initial area, the temperature is still quite high, and then from the run-out table to the pick-up. At this stage, the Para-Aramid belt will get quickly worn and even burnt with the high temperature and quick abrasion. In such occasion, PBO endless belt becomes a better choice. Despite the higher cost, the service life of PBO belt is much longer than that of the Para-Aramid one, and this will lower down the cost by break of work for change-over. Therefore, from the view of performance price ratio, esp. shortening of production lead time, PBO belt still wins off.
