Our ROBODOC Surgical Systema . is a Surgical Orthopaedic Robotic System from a company that is a pioneer in Orthopedic medical robotics. The System includes two components One that allows surgeons to pre-operatively plan their surgery in a 3-D virtual space and then execute the surgery exactly as planned in the operating theatre and a Surgical Assistant, a computer-controlled surgical robot utilized for precise cavity and surface preparation for hip and knee replacement surgeries. This System made medical history as the first of its kind to be used on humans, assisting a surgeon in a THA procedure and the company has been awarded the prestigious Computer world Smithsonian Award for Innovation in the Arts and Sciences for Medicine.
